The London 2012 gold-medallist Abhinav Bindra complimented PV Sindhu on her achievement of becoming the first woman sportsperson from the country to win two Olympic medals, saying it was a ‘rare accomplishment’ and that the ‘next generation of athletes are lucky to have a role model like her’.
